Toe pressure and TBI

Toe pressure offers crucial insights into assessing the presence of PAD and critical limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), especially in cases where the ankle-brachial index (ABI) may be unreliable — prevalent in people with diabetes or calcified vessels [1]. Our heated laser doppler is more sensitive than PPG and promotes measurement reliability in cases of low toe pressure.

Ankle pressure and ABI

Ankle pressure and ABI are the gold standard for first-line PAD diagnosis in patients without diabetes.

Skin perfusion pressure — SPP

SPP is a reliable, noninvasive exam that measures the microcirculatory blood pressure at the skin level, providing insights about wound healing potential, especially in cases where traditional vascular assessments may be limited.

Transcutaneous oxygen — TcpO2

TcpO2 is a noninvasive exam that measures the partial pressure of oxygen in the skin, offering insights into tissue oxygenation, wound healing potential, and the effectiveness of interventions such as revascularization or hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Pulse volume recording — PVR

PVR is a noninvasive vascular exam that measures changes in limb volume caused by blood flow, helping to assess arterial blood supply, detect occlusions, and evaluate the severity of PAD.

Segmental limb pressure

Segmental pressure is a noninvasive method and complementary to ABI in an initial diagnosis of lower extremity artery disease. It helps to quantify arterial insufficiency and localize the level of obstruction.

Finger pressure

Digit-brachial index (DBI) is the upper extremity equivalent of ABI. It is useful for diagnosing conditions like upper extremity ischemia or evaluating perfusion in patients with specific vascular challenges.
