Remote panels for hyperbaric oxygen therapy — HBOT
TcpO2 is a well-documented method for assessing how well a person responds to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). We offer remote panels for TcpO2 that sit inside the chamber and include all the necessary cabling to connect with your PeriFlux 6000 instrument placed outside the chamber.
Measure Tcpo2 before, during, and after HBOT sessions with our remote panels and PeriFlux 6000.
The nature of hyperbaric oxygen therapy rules out the use of most electronic devices inside the chamber, as sparks or heat can ignite a fire in the flammable oxygen-rich atmosphere. To overcome this challenge, we have developed a remote panel system, enabling TcpO2 measurements during treatment.
Primarily designed for use in multiplace chambers, our remote panels kit includes all the necessary elements to expand the TcpO2 measuring capabilities of your chamber. Your measurement needs will dictate how many panels you need. Theoretically, the number of measurements is unlimited, but in practice, our customers tend to opt for between four and eight panels together with a PeriFlux 6000 TcpO2 solution.
Each panel includes a socket for one TcpO2 electrode, a calibration chamber, and the necessary cables and pass-through equipment to ensure data transfer from the electrodes placed on the patient to a PeriFlux 6000 instrument outside the chamber.
Our remote panels kit includes:
- The number of panels you need.
- Cables to connect to a PeriFlux 6000 instrument.
- Pass-through for the chamber wall.
Beyond monitoring
TcpO2 is the go-to method for delivering immediate insights about HBOT effectiveness for patients with wounds, who may have diabetes, or who are post-revascularization. This method involves measuring TcpO2 at multiple levels, say above and below the wound, and on a healthy limb for reference purposes.
Together, our remote panels and PeriFlux 6000 TcpO2 solution enable you to carry out this kind of multilevel/bilateral measurement. Our standard PeriFlux 6000 configuration supports up to 8 TcpO2 sensors, making it possible to deliver eight in-chamber TcpO2 measurements simultaneously with a single instrument.
PeriFlux 6000
Our portfolio includes two TcpO2 instruments — an on-cart system and a compact standalone. Both solutions leverage our state-of-the-art measurement technology, can be used outside a monoplace or a multiplace chamber, and support up to 8 simultaneous TcpO2 measurements.
PeriFlux 6000 TcpO2 System
Mounted on a height-adjustable cart for ease of use and large wheels for effortless transportation and maneuverability. PeriFlux 6000 TcpO2 System includes a guided user interface that visualizes TcpO2 levels, enabling you to monitor the oxygen levels of your patients throughout a HBOT session.
Includes options for DICOM/HL7 connectivity for transfer of TcpO2 measurements to your centralized patient management system for seamless patient follow-up.
PeriFlux 6000 TcpO2 Standalone
Our standalone TcpO2 instrument is a compact self-contained measurement device with a touchscreen interface and broad handle for easy transportation. The touchscreen interface visualizes TcpO2 levels in real time, enabling you to monitor the oxygen levels of your patients throughout a HBOT session.
